Stefania Licari
Stefania Licari is an actor, comedian, writer and doctor working and living in London.
Stefania holds an MFA in acting from East 15 Acting School in London, is a graduate of the prestigious École Philippe Gaulier in France, and has trained in physical theatre with the Grotowski Institute in Poland. She has performed at top venues throughout London, including the Arcola Theatre, Tristan Bates, Rich Mix, and the Omnibus Theatre. With a passion for making dynamic contemporary work, Stefania founded TeatroLatino in 2018, a theatre company that produces challenging work with a focus on diversity and internationalism.
In a different kind of theatre entirely, Stefania graduated with honours in Medicine from Milan’s University of Study, and undertook specialty training in Anaesthetics and Intensive Care in the UK. She has since been published in several well-known medical journals, has worked in large Trauma Centres such as The Royal London Hospital, has volunteered abroad, and is an ALS (Advanced Life Support) instructor for fellow doctors and nurses. She most recently spent the COVID-19 pandemic working extensively in intensive care and accident and emergency departments.
